We will be using computers everyday, without the proper tools it will be difficult to learn. You are responsible for using the
website for class work. There will not be many photocopies but you are welcome to print your own copy from the documents posted on the website. Much of your work will Submitted be online, deadlines must be met. The window is closed after A certain date and time.
Students will be expected to use the school website to check homework and grades. With every assignment Grades change. Check for missing assignments early, They will only be accepted during the unit and before the test. No late work will be accepted beyond that time. Progress reports are issued every five weeks. Quarter grades are averaged for the semester grade. The semester grade is the one that is permanently on your transcript.
When Working with other students and sharing documents you will need to learn how to share. Intentionally altering or copying another student's work or copying directly from a source will be reported to the Assistant Principal for disciplinary action.
Textbook / Notebooks
A classroom copy is available as well as a digital copy. You will need to download your book from the library. You are required to read the book on your own; this is the independent learning that completes the framework for what we do in class. Notebooks are part of the class and students can choose if they want to take notes online or on paper. Notebooks will be collected and graded.
Grading Scale: A 90-100% B 80-89%, 70-79% C, 60-69% D, F below 59.
You will receive a citizenship grade. The categories are: outstanding, satisfactory and unsatisfactory. Any student Who has an unsatisfactory for a grading period will attend a conference with the school administrator, your parent and the teacher.
